Procedures
The two pole 1/4 jack has
the following parts, the tip (hot) and sleeve (cold). The tip carries the
positive signals or charges while the sleeve carries the ground
First plug the soldering iron and allow to heat for about
10-15 minutes.
Carefully cut through the outer rubber casing using the wire
stripper.
Take out the unwanted part of the wire.
One-eight-inches or less of insulation should be stripped
off with wire stripper to reveal a fresh wire.
Remove the cover of the jack to expose the connectors.
Solder the ends of the wire.
With the soldering iron
and the lead connect the red wire which is the positive to the tip’s connector
and hold the wire for some time.
Connect the white or
black wire to the sleeve’s connector and hold the wire for some time.
Repeat the process with the other jack
