Shawn Layden, head of Sony's Interactive Entertainment Worldwide Studios, the PlayStation division has announced they will not be holding PlayStation Experience in 2018
The executive gave this news on their podcast PlayStation Blogcast #308, the brand's official podcast. Among the reasons for the non-happening of the PlayStation Experience, Layden expressed that, because they do not have much to show off.
The boss said he was aware that this could "sadden the fans," but said that Sony chose that path "instead of raising expectations."
