President John Dramani Mahama will today [Thursday] turn on the valves of the new John Evans Atta Mills FPSO to mark the beginning of oil production in Ghana’s second oil reserve.
The Tweneboa, Enyera and Ntomme (TEN) Oil field on which the new vessel Atta Mills FPSO sits is expected to produce between 20,000-23,000 barrels of oil per day.
Petroleum Minister, Emmanuel Kofi Armah Buah told Citi News that following the success of the TEN fields, Ghana is gradually becoming an integral part of the oil industry in West Africa.
